Our Practice

Debra L. McIntyre, O.D.

Dr. McIntyre holds a Doctorate in Optometry from the Southern Californa College of Optometry as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Visual Science with additional undergraduate studies in business administration and management. She has been a member of the American Optometric Association since 1994 and has participated in many aspects of the organization, including serving as Vice President of her local society. She has received various awards for both her research in low vision and for her devotion to outstanding patient care. In the community, Dr. McIntyre is a member of the Escondido Sunrise Rotary and is the liaison to the San Pasqual High School Interact Rotary Club.

Patient Coordinator\: Katrina Telles

Katrina is the first person you'll hear when you call our office. Her pleasant demeanor and "get it done" attitude certainly helps us provide the service upon which we pride ourselves.

Optometric Assistant\: Maria Verdugo

Maria's experience with a fast-paced eye care environment comes in handy. Her ability to organize and prioritize keeps us in shape during our busy times. From helping with scheduling appointments to training new contact lens wearers to helping choose frames, she is a one-woman show!

Optometric Technician\: Cecilia Valencia

CeCe's smiling face and welcoming personality are a true blessing as she performs initial diagnostic testing on all of our patients. From automated eye measurements to blood pressure reading, she will keep you busy up until the moment you see one of our doctors.

ABO-Certified Optician\: Bertha Nevarez

Berdie is a truly gifted optician. With over 20 years of experience in not only measuring for and selling eyewear, she can make glasses in our on-site lab as well. As a former quality control inspector for a large laboratory, you are sure to get a top-quality level of care!
